The Billings Ovulation Method™ enables you to understand, appreciate and protect and your reproductive health, whether or not you are in a relationship.

With the help of an accredited Billings Ovulation Method™ tutor, every woman can learn to identify her own individual pattern of fertility and infertility and the time of ovulation, according to the Peak symptom.  You will learn to keep a chart, as an accurate record of your pattern. This will enable you to monitor your reproductive health, or to apply the guidelines to achieve or avoid pregnancy as you decide.

Once you are familiar with your normal pattern you will quickly recognise when something different happens.  If there is no obvious explanation for the change you will know to see your doctor.  Early detection enables early investigation which is always the best time to seek treatment and thus protect your reproductive health.

Abnormalities which you may detect in your chart include any unexplained bleeding or bizarre mucus pattern.  Firstly you should consult your Billings Ovulation Method™ tutor who may be able to explain the reason for the change, but if their is any doubt your tutor will always recommend that you see your doctor.

In the chart below, the recognition of abnormal bleeding enabled early diagnosis and successful treatment of an ovarian cyst.abnormal-bleeding-695
